I am new in using indicators and in WLP. So please bear with me. Does WLP have a feature wherein it would filter out stocks for me? Say, I want to use two moving average as my buy and sell indicator. Can WLP filter out stocks that will or about to meet my parameters (shorter moving average crossing the longer moving average on the upside OR when the shorter moving average is crossing the longer moving average on the downside...). I understand that I still need to do backtesting to make sure that this indicator will give me the most probable profit. Thanks.

Any condition is a "filter". So sure, it's easy to create those filters in a backtest, and, if you want to do some Fourier Analysis while you're at it, you can do that too ;)

You said "about to meet...". You have to be careful with what you predict (it may not occur), but it turns out that there is actually an indicator in the library that predicts "Tomorrows Close" for moving averages with stunning accuracy - more that 90% of the time.

Open the "Indicators" dialog and locate RevEngSMA_TC in the TASC Magazine Indicators, click on it, and then click "More Info.." at the bottom for an example.
