The streaming chart does not show OHLC(open, high, low, close) properly. This occurs to all scales including daily or 30 minutes. I've experienced this problem for a long time, at least several months.

BTW, I'm using Fidelity data provider.

Anybody experience the same problem?

First, let me take the opportunity to keep stressing that when you have Fidelity data problems, always call Fidelity. If there is a real-time problem with the data, you won't solve it here.

I'm assuming that you're talking about the "ghost bar", the one in the progress of being built (and not any of the historical bars). In this case, a few weeks ago, not months, there was a change on the Fidelity back end that requires a change in client applications like Wealth-Lab Pro to properly initialize the ghost bar when you start a streaming chart. It's my understanding that this primarily affects Nasdaq symbols.

Long story short, there's an upgrade coming "soon" (I won't guess a date any more) that should resolve the problem.

I thought Wealth-Lab was a part of Fidelity. So it was not, and actually a separate company?

Calling Fidelity? What number to call for data related issues? There must be a better way than calling their 800 customer service.

Also, I'm not sure whether this issue is Fidelity only as I have no access to other streaming provider. It will be great if someone can verify that this is only a Fidelity-specific issue.

1 - Our third party company MS123 LLC runs the wealth-lab.com website, is licensed by Fidelity to support and resell Wealth-Lab products to international customers. We are not responsible for Fidelity data, login and order issues.

3 - You have. Yahoo! Daily streaming is free (15-min delayed). You can compare their behavior by switching to Yahoo temporarily in Wealth-Lab's Preferences > Streaming.

With Yahoo streaming, I got the following error:

"On demand update error: Data at the root level is invalid. Line 1, position 1."

Cone, when do you think client application like Wealth-Lab pro can be changed to adapt to Fidelity back end change? I know you are no longer committing to the end of the month. That what about the end of next month? This is quite a headache to have no streaming provider working.

Please try this:

Knowledge Base > Errors | Data > XML error while updating Yahoo! data

now that 6.3 is released. Seems the problem still exist with Nasdaq stocks. When can this problem be fixed with Fidelity?

BTW, I still got YHOO streaming error after following Knowledge base. In any case, YHOO streaming is delayed for 15 minutes. What I really want is for Wealthlab to support Fidelity data feed. I think this issue is a critical one that needs to be fixed ASAP.

Provided that you're logged in and are using 6.3 (check Help > About..), there should be no problem with delayed quotes. I don't see a problem. If you still do, please call Fidelity.

The version was upgraded to 6.3. Anyways, now I tried uninstalling the software, deleted it from Program Files, and then did a clean re-installation, and the problem seems gone.

Thanks. It is a great relief.
