Bar Data Editor is not available for this chart

Sometimes I am able to edit data using the bar data editor, but other times I get the error message, "Bar Data Editor is not available for this chart." I make sure that the "on demand update" feature is disabled, and that the streaming button is toggled off. My provider is Fidelity. What other things can keep me from being able to edit data some of the time?

Switch to the native time frame of the data. Most likely, you're working with scaled data e.g. native 30-minute data compressed to 60-minute.
