For conversion of WL6 strategies that used Community Indicators that are now bundled into the cost-option PowerPack extension with 14-day trial, could you please extend the trial period to match that of WL7?
Thank you and kind regards.

All in-house extensions, including Power Pack, are fully functional when WL7 is operating in trial mode, so no extension is required.

That's great, Glitch, thanks.
How are these indicators accessed?
For example, under "Indicators" in the left-side menu the "Community" cog contains only "HiLoLimit, SwingHi, SwingHiLo, SwingLo.". How does one gain access to the full set of Community indicators?
Take the "SuperTrend" indicator, for example. This is listed as being in the PowerPack but it is not listed among any of the "Indicators" "cogs" sections. A search for "Super" reveals only "SuperPassband, SuperPassbandRMS, SuperSmoother".
Thanks.

Did you install the PowerPack Extension? Click the Extensions link here in the web site main menu, then go to Power Pack and download and install the Extension.

Ok, thought you were implying they were pre-installed with the trial installation with access controlled by a licensing mechanism.
As long a we get there in the end is all that matters ;)
Thank you for your time.

NB: just to clarify, presumably the payment for the PowerPack is only processed at the end of the trial period?

No, such purchase is processed as it happens and the extension stays with you even if you decide to drop from Premium to Annual plan, for example.

I think I misunderstood, I was assuming you have a normal 14 day trial of WL7. In this case, all our extensions work during the trial period. You needn't purchase them.

But it appears you've gone on a WL6 trial to a WL7 annual plan?

If you decide not to continue your trial at the end of the period contact us at support@wealth-lab.com and we can process a PowerPack refund.

Ok, that's very gracious Glitch, thanks.

Just to clarify, I have been a WL6 customer for eons.

The trial process looks straightforward enough, but when it comes to things like requiring extensions that used to be part of the standard installation, it is not so straightforward, hence my forum questions.

Looking forward to using the Building Blocks, in particular. I can see so much that they can handle, but a few things they can't [yet]. An incredible advancement in UX over the former methodology.

Glad you like the changes! My goal was to provide a much consdensed number of BB, to reduce clutter and try to make it less overwhelming for new users, while at the same time packing much more flexibility into the BB themselves.

Great philosophy!
It's just an opinion, a generalization, and a lighthearted way of viewing things, but I see users of this type of software in two camps:
- there's the real coders who eat, sleep, and breath coding. For them, coding is fun, even a joy, and finding more elegant ways to accomplish something gives deep satisfaction.
- then there's the non-coders who want a visual UI in which to express their ideas. For them, the visual nature of the UI enhances their creativity, and coding is seen simply as a means to an end when necessary.

Building Blocks is the type of interface that the latter is drawn to to capture their ideas and experiment in ways that allow their creativity to flow more freely.
