Hi, yesterday I started using WL9. After about 5 hours Windows ran out of memory with WL consuming 5.5 GB RAM. WL8 has been working fine with 1.1 GB RAM for the same excat 3 C# scripts.
I did not observe WL9 memory usage over those 5 hours. Just noticed it when Windows complained that it's low on memory (which is extremly rare - laptop has 16 GB and I always keep the task manager open - just for these reasons).
Just launched WL9 with the 3 scripts and it shows ~820MB. I'm guessing a memory leak may be the culprit.
I intentionally left out script details since the focus should be on WL9 as the only difference.

Yes, there was a memory leak in WL9 and it's fixed for the upcoming Build 2.
The problem still exists in build 2. Memory just jumped from 1.8 to 2.7 GB RAM almost instantly. Same setup as above. At first it was about 0.8 GB.
Reloading the workspace reduced it from 2,7 to 1.9.

It's possible there's another undiscovered source, but Instant jumps don't imply a memory leak. Monitor it over a period of time, like an hour, to determine if it rises in a geometric rate even though new resources weren't used.
A sudden jump like that is not indicative of a memory leak. It's normal memory usage. Don't expect WL9 to run without consuming memory and having it sometimes increase. The slow steady LEAK has been fixed.
So far so good. I'll observe for the next couple of days.
