I successfully created a Schwab app and registered the required keys in Wealthlab data configuration settings for Schwab data provider. I know the connection is working because I am able to test stream with the symbol SPY. However, when I try to get quotes for BTC/USD either in streaming test or from a chart window the data is not loaded. I am not sure if the "/" in the symbol name is causing issues. I have tried the same symbol while logged into Schwab and it works fine there.
Rename
Schwab's thinkorswim accesses data from a different source than what's available to Schwab apps like WealthLab's Schwab provider. Usually, if the data is available on Schwab's website, you can request it using a Schwab app. The question is, can you find that data on the website? My guess is "probably not" because Schwab is not returning that data from the endpoint available to us.
