When on the quotes and orders windows, it would be really nice to be able to right-click a symbol and get a full quote. The current windows don't show ohlc or volume data.

That way when checking on quotes and orders for specific symbols you can see how close they got to limits or if they passed them at some point if you miss the open or for whatever reason.

Thanks

Streaming providers are not obliged to return a partial bar, only the current live price. Some feeds do not contain the partial OHLC. So it couldn't even be uniform and would raise questions if some providers don't conform.

Still, I like the idea. Although all Streaming Providers wouldn't be able to support a full quote, their companion Historical Providers could.

Not all HDPs are even capable of returning the daily snapshot.

Which ones are those?

Off the top of my head, Tiingo (or is it Alphavantage?) and Morningstar to name a few. If I remember correctly, you cannot work around it by building a snapshot from intraday data because it's not available from some of them until after the close (Tiingo?)

Where there's a will, there's a way.
If some providers can't support it, we just add a virtual property - SupportsSnapShotQuote - that defaults to false. If true, the option can be made available.

Of course we can do as you suggest. But how would that help the non-uniform user experience? To avoid questions like "-why no daily snapshot? -you're using X provider, it doesn't support that." we could disable the right click option if provider doesn't conform... And here again we risk getting another question "why is the button not working for me? it's grayed out."

Most popular providers can support it. We'll leave it to the vote to decide. Feature requests are [mostly] democratic after all!

Thank you both for at least considering it regardless of what you decide to do.
