I changed my password at IQFeed. Now, I get the IQFeed login windows saying that my password is incorrect when I open a streaming chart in Wealthlab. I enter the correct password and click "connect" in the IQFeed login window. Everything works fine until I close wealthlab and restart it. Then I go through the same login issue with IQFeed again.
I have contacted IQFeed, and we got the login problem corrected so that I can use their applications eg, SnapQuote. However Wealthlab still has the same problems. The IQfeed login window has the save password box checked.

I kept a record of what IQFeed support had me do to correct the problem with the login so that their apps now open and work correctly. I am reluctant to try this for wealthlab without contacting you for help first.

What do you need help with? What did IQFeed suggest to do? Post it?

when I start wealthlab and open a streaming chart I get IQFeed window stating that the password is incorrect. Normally, that window comes up, a blue status bar flashes across it, and the window disappears. Now the window stays open telling me that the password is incorrect. I then enter the correct password and check the checkbox to save the password, then I click connect. The password does not actually save as best I can tell, because restarting wealthlab causes the same process to occur.

Try opening the WealthLab Data folder, you can do this from the File menu.

Find the file Settings.txt. In that file, find the line that starts with IQFeed= and delete that entire line. Save the file.

Restart WL8 and this should give you a clean slate to re-enter your IQFeed info.

Let me know if this helps.

I tried the same fix that IQFeed (DTN) had me do. That did not work with WL8. I then reinstalled the IQFeed extension in WL8, and the tried starting a streaming chart. I saw the same problem: IQFeed (DTN) window says pass word is bad. I enter the correct password and WL8 streaming charts work fine.
I go back and load an IQFeed app (SnapQuote) and it works fine.
It Looks to me like the IQFeed extension, is not picking up the password changes that are saved in the IQFeed (DTN) login app. That IQFeed (DTN) login app runs when I try to start a streaming chart in WL8.

Definitely. You should enter your IQFeed credentials there.
