Hi, All,

I am a newbie. I have been looking for a solution to auto trade E-Mini contracts on Interactive Brokers. My strategy is based on EMA crossing and RSI for entry. For exit, I'd like take profit at specific number of ticks above my average cost and set trailing stop at specific number of ticks below the pervious bar high. The strategy will run 24x5.

Sounds simple, but, can this be implemented with Wealth-lab and execute seamlessly at Interactive Brokers?

I just downloaded and am playing with strategy. I can't even load /ES (E-Mini) as dataset for the dummy provider. Any suggestion here?

Thank you in advance for any insight!

/ES requires a source of data. Have you installed the IB provider?

Of course you can use that or any other strategy to trade futures at IB with WealthLab.

But note that futures symbol formats are different for just about every provider. If you're using IB, /ES is not the symbol, and, you must identify the specific contract when trading. Read the User Guide about symbol formats to use for IB.

Thanks for the info. Is there a way to connect to my Interactive Brokers account during trial for end to end testing? Or, do I have to purchase IB connector in order to test it? Thanks.

Every paid extension comes with a 2 week free trial period, the IB provider suite is no exception.
