Occasionally I will run the evolver over night and/or a few days. If the computer freezes or the program does after lets say 4000 iterations I don't get to see the evolver results. Is there a way to autosave these like optimizations runs now do?

Is there a way to have the the evolver state and/or Apex strategies autosave similar to the optimizations? If I have this running over night and I get a power outage or the computer crash I lose all my progress and saved strategies.

Thanks!

We need more votes to start working on this!

Currently working on the top voted item, Evolver visualizers.

I, too, have experienced this, as I am a heavy user of Evolver.
To that end, I've attempted to run and compare some backtests to see if time is really my friend, as regards these backtests, or is it better to "dance within the door jamb".

I'm not comfortable with my results yet, but, I'll say that the APEX function and the Filters have been a great time saver for me, overall.

For me, this makes sense not so much in the context of power outage as in the fact that after a forced daily program restart the results get lost

The only forced daily WealthLab restart is if you're forcing it yourself.
Seems pretty easy to avoid.

Here is another user case where auto saving feature is a must. Evolver worked all night, and during the work some window with an error came out. You can see the white square on the screenshot. But since this window is displayed crookedly for some reason, I can't close it, so I have to restart the whole program, losing progress.

The Evolver auto-saves all Apex Strategies in the "Apex Strategies" folder under your WL User Data folder. You can check for them there.
