Hi,

Happy 4th of July!

I have a premium API with Alpha Vantage, but I am having issues with intraday data.



contacted them, and they said it's an issue on WL's end.

Any ideas?

Hi,

1. Please double check that you've pasted your API key correctly.
2. Are there related error messages from the AV provider in Tools > Log Viewer when you update data?

I did proper setup from AV end, registered, enabled 15-min delay data. But, I am still getting the same error.

Thanks. 503 Service Unavailable is not a WL error. It's a temporary state telling that the AV servers cannot handle the request at the time due to being overloaded or down for maintenance.

They are saying they don't have any server errors.

I can load Daily data, but no intraday data.

Got it, thanks. And it instantly helped spot a change in the Alpha Vantage API breaking the intraday data. Instead of breaking it for every client a more elegant solution on their part might have involved handling it gracefully i.e. setting up an internal redirect. 🤷‍♂️

but I am still not getting anything...

I tried for the same AAPL, and no data.

What is B39? Built 39? I have 38

Eugene has fixed this for Build 39, once we release Build 39 you can update WL and will be able to get the data again.

Only I can get last 30 days of intraday data, any ideas how to get more?

As per AV support they said, you can get up to 20+ years of data.

In addition to Cone's solution, double check that "Use fast (but limited) intraday data loading" is DISABLED in Data Manager > Historical providers > AlphaVantage.

I can't select at streaming quotes AV since I only have $50 version.

for EODHD I can pull back max 30-days





I guess since it's too much fuss...I might as just get IQFeed.

Can you open an AV chart, switch the data range to All Data, then type in an UNSEEN symbol?

There are several ways to reset downloaded data to get more if need be (from a chart's context menu, in the Data Manager etc.) but I want to make sure it works for you.

Please disregard my Post #17 above.

The ever helpful data feed has broken more in their API than meets the eye. An important process to collect the entire intraday history in chunks, known as pagination, is also broken without notice. Without it, the API would return intraday data for the most recent month. 🤷‍♂️

We will have to adapt to the changed convention, hopefully in B40.
