Please clarify what techniques are used behind the genetic evolver? Genetic algorithms or genetic programming?
And can strategies be managed and ranked, like regular assets, in portfolio of strategies? For instance, if I want to select five strategies out of hundred via ranking them by best momentum every month, then can I do it with WL?

The Evolver uses a genetic algorithm that first creates a batch of randomized Strategies, then takes the top performers and mutates them for inclusion in the next generation.
