First off, I really like the Apex Strategy option! My question is if we could take this one step further, is it possible to select 2 apex strategies to backfill as the top 2 defaults of the evolver to mate with each other and possibly produce an Apex offspring?

You could experiment by saving Apex Strategies and adding them to an Evolver Slot (6-10) in Preferences.
Yes, that is a possible it is just a very slow manual process and being able to auto populate those spots from apex strategy list.
The point is that the exercise will likely show you that you won't gain anything from trying to put 2 or more systems together that had nothing to do with the other.
You've probably done this long enough to know that small changes in otherwise profitable systems usually have large negative effects. My opinion is that the exercise would be in futility - but let the votes decide. I think there are bigger fish to fry that are far more worthwhile, like multi-currency support, which is at the top of the list!

Going to have to decline this one because it doesn’t make sense to replace the top two evolver slots every generation with some apex strategies.
