Hi,
I started running my strategy in the strategy monitor yesterday morning. I ran the same strategy for two accounts in TDA. I was using a 5-minute timeframe for polling the data (first attempt). I believe it should have created a signal to be auto-traded, but it didn't. So I switched over to streaming data and ran into the same problem. In each case, both were activated and set up to auto-trade, but nothing happened. The log showed it completed running each strategy for each 5-minute timeframe. So I ran the same strategy using the back-tester. It produced a signal, sent it to quotes and I had to click the Trigger button to execute the purchase. This was for one account. I just bought the shares manually for the other account.

After this, I killed the strategies in the strategy monitor and created two charts, adding the strategy to each chart but for different accounts. From then on, everything worked fine yesterday. I just left my computer running figuring the streaming might startup when the market opened this morning. It didn't. So, I turned off streaming in one of the charts and restarted it. It still didn't work. Finally, I had to shut down the program and reload the workspace and finally got everything to work correctly. Has anyone else seen this problem before? Am I doing something wrong?

Thanks!

We've been here before:

If you would just show a screenshot of the Strategy Monitor with the way you had it set up, ideally with the Log of the selected Strategy item showing on the right, we might have a chance at knowing what happened.

As for startup -
You need to restart and reconnect to brokers each day.
