I was just wondering: When looking at a symbol inside a strategy's chart window, is there a way to "force" it (e.g. by a secret key combination) to show on-the-fly a trade as having been taken on a different date than the one it shows?

I'm not sure if I get the question but perhaps the Signals Navigator is what you're looking for?

No, not that.

Basically, when flicking through charts in a strategy (outside of a backtest) I want to sync the trade date with when the Backtester took the trade which it does based on Trade Priority. The standalone chart doesn't know of competing symbols (which may have had a higher priority) so it just shows the trade as of the first opportunity it became eligible - and that date may not be same as in the backtest.
I know I can run the backtest each time and then visualize the trades but that's too cumbersome and time consuming, looking for an easier on-the-fly method to match up the dates, if possible, strictly on a temporary basis.

No, not possible.

If you're running the strategy in real time, then it will put the trade on the bar where it actually filled. If you come back to it, in another instance, we just sync it to the most-recent bar/price at which the trade could have filled.

(Not a real-time strategy.)
I didn't think it was possible either but thought I would ask anyway.
Ciao.
