Hi,

I have a simple strategie by unsing the condition "indicator crosses indicator". First I use the same indicator but different parameters.
But as you can see in the images below, there are too less signals win the backtest in contrast to the possible signals in the chart of this strategie.

Is there something to improve in the software or did I a mistake?

Thank you for your answer,
Marko

Hi,

1. What are the system's rules i.e. the Blocks?
2. What position size is applied?

Hi Eugene,
1. I can send you the strategie by email (i don't like to post it). Could you give me please your email-adress?
2.the pos. size is 100%; when I use 25% or less I get no position. It is not logic in my opinion.

Marko, please see the FAQ: What are NSF positions?. That's what's happening to your missing signals due to the use of 100% equity sizing (or 25% for 4 stocks, or 10% per 10 symbols etc.) After adjusting the position size as described you should get all signals.

Hi Eugene, I knew/know NSF positions ... , in this case, I just realised, that I made a mistake. I don't know how, but instead of "percent of equity" (it's my default), it was "fixed value". So, somehow I switched without realizing it.
Sorry!

Now everything is working, I get the signals.

Thank you, Marko.
