Have an expandable set of Advanced Options for indicator parameters in Building Blocks. These will include:

- Displacement
- Scale Compression
- Source Symbol (will replace the Qualifier)
- Mathematical operations

Robert, can you clarify the Displacement idea? I wonder what's the difference from "How many bars ago" in Indicator conditions and the "N Bars ago" qualifier?

Until I can remember if there's a difference, you can ignore it ;)

I just had an epiphany on how to handle these! I'm think we'll introduce a few new "Meta Indicators". These are Indicators that will take another Indicator as a Parameter, and apply a transformation to it.

For example, we could have an Offset Indicator that lets you offset any Indicator by the specified number of bars. Another one might be Scale which would let you obtain an Indicator in a specific scale (like Weekly from a Daily backtest).

Using these "Meta Indicators" would let this feature request work within the existing Building Block framework, and really open up even more potential!

Sounds sweet!

That sounds awesome, so you could potentially buy using an indicator in a daily scale and sell using an indicator using an hourly scale or visa versa then. Or buy
indicator using an hour scale and have an indicator on daily scale confirm the buy signal. This really opens up the realm of possibilities 😊

Exactly! I'm going to start working on this concept while the rest of the team QA's the Position Size Optimization.

Here is one of the new Transformer Indicators in action. A FIrst for WL - you can now drag and drop an indicator based on an external symbol!

Ever thought about extending the SymolInd Transform Indicator so that the spread between the two indicator values is automatically calculated and displayed?

Especially with the Bull/Bear Leveraged ETFs, this could be quite exciting or I'm wrong with my first impression of TECL vs. TECS...
