Doe anyone know if IQFeed limits historical data for trial periods? I'm trying to get about a year of minute data and 10 years of daily but it's only downloading a few days of minute and 1 year of daily.

Try going to Preferences, Data and bumping up your Intraday Days Multiple. You should start getting more data increasing this limit.

Your understanding is correct, IQFeed restricts trial users to 4 calendar days of intraday data and 365 calendar days of Daily bars during their trial.

I have no idea what I'm doing wrong.
I have a full subscription to IQFeed. I changed it this afternoon and they confirmed it was not the trial anymore.
I set a strategy to do the last 30 years of QQQ daily and it is giving me 1 year of history. same for 20 years. And 10.
In the data manager I said update the dataset with qqq in it. It only loads 1 year.
I set the strategy to do all data daily. It gives me one year.
I tried setting it to minute to see if I could get 6 months of minute data and thankfully that worked.
Is there a way to force it to get all the data for the daily data?

If you’ve already downloaded some daily data while you were in the trial, you may need to delete all of your local IQFeed data so you can get a fresh daily download without your restrictions from the trial. Select IQFeed in the Data Manager, Historical Providers tab, right click on it and select Delete Local Data.

Note that based on some past reports of conversions from demo, their streaming data actually started streaming not straight from the "Beginning Date" the account was paid but at midnight CST next day.
