When I am going through a watchlist and trying to evaluate stocks based on discretionary criteria, I like to keep the stronger stocks at the top of the list and weaker towards the bottom of the list.

This is a feature request to support dragging and dropping symbols in the dataset sidebar. Currently, looks like there is no way to keep the symbols in a custom order and alphabetically sorted is hard-coded. Users should have an option to keep the symbols in whatever order they want. There should be a menu-item in the right-click menu for the dataset to sort the symbols.

Alphabetic sort is required for uniformity between the various data providers. Custom sort order may have undesirable side effects while not giving real value. Additional right-click menu to resort something that is already sorted otherwise is just feature creep and bloat, IMHO.

This will make good sense for "unlinked" dataset.

How valuable custom sort is for different traders will depend on their routines and workflows. For me this is one thing because of which I have not been able to use WealthLab when going through my watchlist and trying to prepare my buy list (discretionary trading).

You can prioritize your symbols and signals in other ways e.g.

1) group your symbols in separate DataSets ("Strong", "Weak" etc)
2) mark signals with custom Weight
