Tried to d/l a few index symbols using the recommended format e.g VIX-IND-CBOE (for VIX) as well as related ones [VIX;IND;CBOE, VIX,IND,CBOE, etc.] but failed. Log viewer showed error (object not set to an instance of an object...). Tested a few stocks, they download ok so its not an API issue.
Help > Extensions > IB makes no mention of INDEX under type of instrument.
Qs:
1) Are index symbols supported?
2) If not, would you mind adding it as another supported type? TIA.
