I was loving Wealth Signals comprehensive OOS metrics, in fact I am a big fan of everything Wealth-team does. Said so, my impression of the new Collective 2 publisher is perfect, but my first impression for C2 is a little bit like "I will be working for C2". It is very expansive both for strategists as for subscribers, moreover it is subscription-based for anyone who share signals, and I am not sure it is capable of showing back test history, so it can take a while (and some money too) to show comprehensive results to potential subscribers, also it takes 50% of each subscription. Darwinex is a much more friendly approach for sharing signals.

Lastly, a simple newsletter can be auto-traded real time at no cost for the publisher, using a wide variety of platforms such as Global-Autotrading (with direct connectivity to Interactive Brokers, Tradier and many more). Next great step for WL Publisher would be to send the signals to an e-mail list. This is in my opinion, the best way to share trading signals. It would be a simple, affordable, and very affective solution for publishers.

Happy weekend!

There is this extension finantic.Publisher which can produce contents for such a newsletter form WL orders in various formats and even in foreign languages...

see https://www.wealth-lab.com/extension/detail/finantic.Publisher for details.

There is a problem with the finantic.Publisher that need to be fixed in order to be used for publishing strategies: f.P does note CLOSE positions.

It should be able to publish CLOSE signals such as Sell to Close or Cover, without the need of tweaking Trading Preferences such as position checking that are set for safety reasons.

I Like and prefer Darwinex as a Signal Publisher. Collective2 is very expensive to offer more as one strategy (99 USD mtl.) and C2 will also earn to much from the Public Strategies.

I like Darwinex too. Adding both the email newsletter* and Darwinex would be very valuable for WL Publisher.

*The newsleter has a great versatility. I simply copy and paste from the Strategy Manager staged list and send the emails. Signals can be auto-traded without further edition and no cost for the publisher with Global Auto-trading.

In case my experience is useful for others members of our community who may be considering joining Collective 2, I want to share my review of their platform.

I gave them a chance subscribing to a Trade Leader plan (USD 39) a few days ago, then they asked me to upgrade to USD 99 monthly for placing orders trough WL8 because it uses their API.

In addition to these USD 99, they take 50% of all your subscriber fees, you are not enabled to share OOS metrics from other platforms, there is a limit in the number of orders you can place at once, and C2 support takes longer than those from other platforms.

After 4 days I am closing my C2 account.

Hmm they charge $99 to use the api?! Is that a one time charge? Was not aware of that.

It's not entirely account that it's $99/month to use the API. However, it appears you have to choose the Premium Plan to use the API, but this includes managing up to 3 systems with it.

Indeed. I subscribed to the Trade Leader plan that allows manage only one strategy, I don't need more because my system is a meta strategy, and I paid the USD 39, I was able to place signals trough my WL8 Strategy Monitor, but after 4 days they requested an upgrade to monthly USD 99 because in the end I was placing the orders trough their API.

I closed the account.

A far better way to share signals is Global-Autotrading (https://global-autotrading.com/). I copy and paste the signals directly from WL8 Strategy Manager to an email and it works perfectly and smooth.

The process is this:
a) List your strategy for free with Global-Autotrading (https://global-autotrading.com/)
b) Run the strategies in WL8 Strategy Monitor
c) I copy and paste the signals on a Wordpress blog "new post" (no edition required). When I post them, Wordpress automatically sends the signals to all subscribers email.
d) Global-Autotrading automatically places the orders in all subs accounts in Interactive Brokers, Tradier, TD Ameritrade, Alpaca and many more.

It works fine, people is very happy.

Darwinex is a great platform too and at no extra cost for the strategy manager. I will find out how to place the signals from WL8 in there. If someone is already doing it please comment!

I hope it is useful! :D

We asked C2 if WealthLab would qualify as a "Popular Platform" for the Basic subscription, and the response was,
"Yes, this was an oversight. We will have something for you probably tomorrow and in the meantime you can tell your clients they only need the basic plan."

Thank you Cone. It looks like C2 team members are not aware of this.

Don't jump to conclusions prematurely. We're just now onboarding with C2. They just hadn't set everything up yet for WealthLab, but we were ready for a release. Once you see our name on this page, then you can start raising questions!

All wright. I will not jump to any other conclusion other than: C2 is quite expensive compared to other options such as Darwinex or an email newsletter, and that their team is not aware the new developments.

What new developments are you referring to?

New developments = WL directly connected to C2.

This is the answer from C2 Support.

I know about Wealthlab and that they reached out to us recently. Whatever connection they developed is on their end. Any manager entering trades on C2 will have to choose from the pricing model. Signal entry via API requires Premium.

Well, for me the theme is done, at least by now. I paid per view, I closed my C2 account and shared my experience.
I have nothing more to say, other than WL Publisher works perfectly, and a mailing list capability would be a great addition :)

Interesting, I’m curious how C2 will identify WL users connecting to the API and allow the Basic Plan for them, but that’s what we’re promised so let’s see!

Have you checked out finantic Publisher which lets you use the Signals Publisher in an email list?

Yes I have. finantic.Publisher needs to fix a problem that it doesn't close positions.

Until this problem is fixed, I use copying and pasting from Strategy Manager into a blog post using Wordpress to automatically send the posted signals to all subscribers.

Just an update on this theme:

The guys from Collective 2 contacted me and told me the that WE CAN POST SIGNALS FROM WL8 WITH JUST THE BASIC C2 SBUSCRIPTION. They apologized for the inconvenience.

Just to close the loop.... unless they made a special case for you , everyone else might need WL8 Build 43 for the C2 Basic Plan to work with the API.

Build 43 should be available today or sometime this week.
