Hi, I am trying to build a PC with Wealthlab's computation in mind. Now, when running "STRATEGY EVOLVER", I noticed that my intel xeon e5-2673 (with 24 cores and 2,4 ghz base speed) is not being fully utilized when going through genetic evolver. In fact, it usually ranges around 10-25% at most. I have 64gb RAM, but that is not that important. I also noticed that the software uses a lot of GPU power.
For running strategy evolver as an example, which would be THE most important specs to look out for when getting a CPU / RAM / GPU? For CPU, Is it clock speed? cache size? Number of cores does not seem to do that much.
