What is the "basic implementation of the block"? If you mean its C# template code-behind, it makes no sense to display anything like that while you're editing the strategy since it's very much dynamic. Otherwise please clarify if I misunderstood you.

This is how I do it now:

I open up a strategy from blocks drag the thing into it open the code window and copy it over.

That does not make too much sense either.

Agreed. Post #2 is a perfect illustration of a case when explanation makes things even more confusing.
