WL8 not opening it stops the starting process at "Controller Initialization Complete" and doesn't go further. (see image below).
I've tried rebooting and both as administrator as well. Please advice. Thanks.

Do you have any demo extensions that may have just expired or are about to expire? If so, check for a dialog box that may be hidden behind the startup window or may be off screen.

No I don't have any demo extensions. It was working fine last night.
I had an issue with IqFeed not loading data due to Logitech GitHub installed in computer but IqFeed Technical Support had me removed and issue went away.

I thought it was on auto payment. It shows as "Active" under My purchases. Not sure if it's waiting for the auto renewal? Is there a way to check?
It opens ok in my laptop. (I made sure my laptop is off when opening in desktop).

We're still trying to determine if really the reason is the license period or something else. Please restart and try again now and let us know if something changed.

(Technically, the license doesn't expire for some hours and it should auto renew unless you unsubscribe.)

I'm still not able to open WL8. Shall I make the payment manually? If so how.
I'm going to uninstall reinstall WL8 after copying the AppData/Roaming/WealthLab8 files. Lets see if that works.

Don't do that because as I mentioned, it's auto-renew. It should happen any hour now.

That aside, we don't think this is even the problem.

No but I copy/paste the entire User Data Folder from the desktop(the one not opening) to Laptop and opens ok there.

I did install the Alpaca and Tradier extensions last night. Not sure if that has any bearing.

Thanks Eugene this worked...
With WL8 closed, rename or move away this file out of its folder and restart WL8:

c:\Users\%Windows username%\AppData\Roaming\WealthLab8\Settings.txt
