If you're using Wealth-Lab Pro with Fidelity, Economic Indicator Data are included with the Fundamental offering.

For Developer, a motivated programmer would need to create a fundamental data provider that grabbed that data and makes it available to the app.

Short of that, you could keep these data in ASCII files and write a routine to read those data when required.

Another possible way, in addition to what Robert suggested, is to grab that data from the Internet in Strategy code, parse (optionally storing in Wealth-Lab's global memory for the current session) and create the DataSeries.

Now if you're a Developer user without access to the Fidelity data you can still have GDP and other economic data with:

Multpl economic data provider + (installation link)
FRED economic data provider
YCharts Fundamental Data for Securities and Economic Data (subscription required)
