Hi

We know that data snooping is a major concern which can affect the validity of trading rules performances. One way to mitigate this problem is by using some parameter optimization (e.g. in-sample for out-of-sample analysis), while more formal (robust) tests include White’s Reality Check (RC) and Hansen's Test of Superior Predictive Ability (SPA).

Is it possible to request RC and/or SPA features in Wealth-Lab, perhaps as an extension (addin)? For example, I found the following which details RC implementation in a different program: https://financial-hacker.com/whites-reality-check/

Cheers

These would be significant additions if they could be incorporated into WL.

Speaking about randomizing all curves by a bootstrap with replacement found in White’s Reality Check method, a poor man's alternative for it may be to use the options already available in Monte Carlo Lab such as Equity Curve Scramble and Trade Randomization.
