Today, I have an exception being generated every time I start WL. If I "Continue" WL starts, but it is hard to trust given 1 exception has already been generated. I have rebooted my pc without any change. I "Modified" my installation of WL and had it re-install the code. Is there anything else to try before I remove WL then install it fresh?

One interesting thing I just noticed is that the Extension Manager does not show up in the tools menu.

Can it have something to do with development of your own addin? If you try to copy/paste the exception message from Details we should be able to troubleshoot the issue.

While I need to develop a component style DLL for myself, I have not done that yet. However, I removed WL, then installed it from scratch and it still would not boot without the exception. Then I renamed the datafiles, and reinstalled WL again and it worked. So the issue was in my datafiles. Via a process of elimination, I found that I have a workspace named "Default.ws", that when deleted, everything works. The date on Default was 5/17/2015. After deleting that workspace, I now start without error.

Could be an uninstalled ChartStyle or something. Can't tell more without the exception details.
