Eugene,

Was forced to upgrade from Win 7 to 10 since advised by Schwab that clients using SSE will have to upgrade. I did a clean install and did not save files or programs. Reinstalled WLP 6.9.22.7. No problems other than still having to use Ctrl +K on log in. I then d-loaded 303 pre-built strategies since 2006. I run 6 after the close each day. The Bollinger Band Width Strategy created 4-27-11 and modified 5-17-11 does not list the strategy parameters under "Optimization". Bollinger Period and Std Dev. are listed for the "Bollinger Buyer" Strategy. Would it be possible to modify the pre-built Bolliner Band Width Strategy and add the strategy parameters. Those parameters were once populated but are now missing. I would really appreciate help with this. And many thanks for resolving Wlp access problem by using Ctrl +K....Best...Tom

Hi Tom,

The "Bollinger Band Width strategy" does have strategy parameters. Nothing is missing and no need to modify anything. They are listed under the Optimization tab.

On the other hand, if on Windows 10 your Strategy parameters box is 'missing' or cut off, font size is too big or too small, text is hard to read, labels overlap and so on, then please follow the quick and easy guide above to fix this known issue:

Fix Wealth-Lab Fonts in Windows 10

On Windows 10 the most promising option is to right click on Wealth-Lab's shortcut, select Properties, then under the Compatibility tab set 'Disable fullscreen optimizations' or set 'Override high DPI scaling behavior' to 'System'. For more information refer to Open Issues > (146) Application needs to support 120 DPI throughout.

Hi,

The Optimization window looks normal, just that the Lines entries "Bollinger Period" and Standar Dev. are missing. Just to be sure , I tried the fixes listed under ... Fix Wealth-Lab Fonts in Windows 10....still same problem. What is strange is that I see strategy parameters for various other pre-built strategies incl. "Bollinger Buyer".

So I tried this: On my wife`s Win 7 PC, I downloaded WLP 6.9.22.7. This PC never had WLp installed. I downloaded all 303 strategies then opened BB Width. >Optimization. Placed both 15 inch laptops side by side. The windows look identical. On both PC`s, the Strategy Parameter line entries are populated for "Bollinger Buyer"....but NOT for Bollinger Buyer Width Strategy. The format of both windows on both PC`s looks perfect. I dont know what to do next. Guess I will have to take my Win 7 from 5 dvd`s and go back to how it worked ok before. Wish there was another way. Wonder if installing version 23 from wealth-lab would help.

1. Copy the BBW Strategy code to clipboard.
2. Open a new Strategy window.
3. Paste from the clipboard.

How does the Optimization tab look now?

You might want to attach screenshots of the tab and WLP workspace to illustrate what you're seeing.

I also see this in RED at the bottom :

Reinstall Community Indicators and restart WLP. This will fix your Strategy which does not compile because of the missing library. Hence the compiler error (and the fact that it cannot be backtested).
