I have a chart setting that I would like all new strategy windows to use as default, including the indicators and moving averages. I have saved this setting as a strategy. With the editor for that strategy open, I select Edit> Set as Default Template Code. I answer "yes" to "Do you want the code that is currently in the Editor window..." Then, when I open a chart in a new strategy window, none of those chart settings are used until I select "open strategy" at the bottom of the screen. What am I not understanding or doing properly?

This action selects the default Template Code for strategies. If you want the indicators there, you need to push them to code first using a button in the Function toolbar.
