Wonder, if this can be an option for WL users.

Thanks for sharing. Here's what I found:

1. "Stock market data from United States exchanges is licensed and sourced from Tiingo, Inc. out of New York City, USA."
https://marketstack.com/product

We already have the Tiingo static data provider. Basically, for U.S. symbols Tiingo offers same 30+ Years of historical data (on paid subscriptions):
https://www.tiingo.com/account/billing/pricing

2. "Intraday prices are available for all US stock tickers included in the IEX (Investors Exchange) stock exchange."
https://marketstack.com/documentation

However, the depth of intraday data offered by MarketStack is limited to the last 10.000 entries. As the API documentation tells, historical intraday data is available for up to 10.000 minutes back for a 1-minute interval. :/ Likewise, Tiingo has intraday IEX data but has it from August 2017. Note: our Tiingo provider does not support intraday data (yet).

A good selling point of MarketStack is their wide choice of world exchanges to get the historical data from (70+). This is something to consider as a future enhancement.

Thanks for the feedback.
I did try Tlingo (For EOD data) sometime ago but couldn't get it to work. May be I should look into it again, once I have access to WLD

(Offtopic) To get Tiingo to work you have to provide a valid API key and be aware of feed's limitations (which for free users are quite sensible).

A considerable downside of MarketStack's API is that neither the split factor nor dividends seem to be available. Bot raw and adjusted data are available but no split/dividend per se is reported (unlike Tiingo). Not being able to adjust for splits and dividends means that users would have to either perform splits manually or reload chart history following a stock split.

I think the main selling point is the price for streaming. $49/month vs. $72/month + exchange fees for IQFeed. It's not clear if exchange fees are included in MS's $49.

Eugene, if Tiingo already works and is reliable, then you'd only have to write the streaming provider :)

Robert, I'm not sure if Tiingo's (hence MarketStack's) streaming is equal to IQFeed's. From what I read, MarketStack's intraday and real-time data comes from the IEX (Investors Exchange) stock exchange.

I've reviewed it and found no change to split/dividend items and data being sourced IEX. Not seeing where it's considerably different from our existing Tiingo provider. Discarded.
