I used WealthLab alot in 2009 but multi-timeframe analysis was broke, so I had to stop using it.

Does anyone know if they every fixed it ? I would like to use WL Pro again for auto-trading ,
but this is a deal-breaker. Thanks

The multi-timeframe problems were specific to certain scenarios, and in large part were fixed in the current build. Others have been fixed in the development build to be released later this year. If there's a particular scenario you need to check before you can use WLP for trading or testing, please take a look now. Otherwise, if you have a question about a specific timeframe combination, let me know what it is.

Better yet, if you have a ticket number in which you reported a problem, it will be very easy to tell you if it has been fixed or not.

I tried it last night and it didnt work for me (perhaps I'm doing it wrong , though I mirrored the help manual).
I simply tried to get a moving average in another time frame and see if its value was higher than another MA, but
it always said it wasnt higher, even during a long backtest.

I think I'll have to find a better platform (I can do this with others (eg: eSignal) with no problems).

I don't think I've ever had a problem with that. Maybe the help manual is wrong. If you're not already off to eSignal (it's a joy coding for eSignal (click for example) where's the code?

Nice one :) Who said coding has to be concise and terse?

Thats great to see how short it is with WealthLab. Here's the thing though, I dont care how long or short something is, I only care if it works and makes money.

I have strategies I've coded in eSignal that make money, but programming them in WealthLab, they lose money or dont work.
At the end of the day, I bet most people will choose the thing that works over the thing that wins points on being concise.

Anyway, I thank you both as you are stand-up people from my interactions with you. WealthLab is the only platform that I've had problems with, and it sucks, because I would really like to use it.

Then why don't you show us your code that's giving you trouble?
