I have reviewed the manual, and consulted Fidelity. It appears that while the extension page descripes the extension manager for WL5 Pro/Developer, it may only be available in Developer. How do you install extensions with Pro?

Yes, currently it's possible to install extensions in Developer 5.1 and up. The Extension Manager tool will be included in Wealth-Lab Pro starting from version 5.3.

Almost forget - open source extensions (only) can be installed in Pro 5.1 from Wealth-Lab 5 Wiki. Download the binary archive (if there's choice of source/binary) and unpack into the main Wealth-Lab Pro 5 directory under Program Files.

So do I need to unpack both the src and bin in the program directory or only the bin?
On a seperate thread, what are the advantages for using WL Developer vs Pro, and what would it cost to upgrade?

You need only the binary (bin).
"Pro" is provided to qualified Fidelity active trading customers (U.S. Residents)
