How can we make the script window to auto refresh at every 'n' min independent of time frame selected? Thanks.

Programming a script in a 3rd party utility like AutoIT could work. But let's start with why would you want to do that?

Thanks for the reply. I would like auto refresh for watch list scan purposes. Also I would like same or similar function in strategy monitor.

When I was asking, I was hoping to find what exact goal are you trying to reach with that. I.e. why not just let Strategy Monitor auto refresh the strategy according to base time frame of the data.

This is confusing. Strategy Monitor already auto refreshes, and does it well. Again, please describe in detail what the problem is and why do you think it requires this solution.

Thanks for the prompt reply.
1. if the script auto refreshes, then I don't have to click go every time. I use watch list scan within the script instead strategy monitor. Because due to more than one scripts in the monitor, seems computer screams when they are being run.

2. Strategy monitor, when I use, i see that for some reason, it is not scanning after the market hours. To override this, if I pick auto refresh at 'n' time, regardless of the time frames, thought useful though slightly overlapping function.

Wish I could voice chat instead typing. :) Hope this helps.

1. What does it mean, "screams", exactly? What kind of strategy(ies) do you put in there? Can this be reproduced?

2. Why do you think that SM should scan after hours? Which time frame and data vendor are you using in SM?

Since 6.1, Strategy Monitor can run EOD strategies at user-specified time (to address custom run time for EOD strategies in SM).

If you're an intraday data user, then, is there a non-Fidelity intraday static provider that supplies pre-/after-market data? The Fidelity data stops at 4PM. Auto refreshing won't help you get it.

More clarifications required on both #1 and #2. Forget about modifying Wealth-Lab for a minute, let's instead concentrate on what was your goal and why isn't Wealth-Lab performing up to your expectations.

1. I put in about 10 or so (the published ones). I think the processor and old computer I guess.
2. I use Fidelity data.
3. I need to check out the 6.1 functionality then.
4. Don't know how else to explain it here. :) Is it difficult to incorporate the auto refresh code in the script?

1. If hardware is the bottleneck, then an upgrade will help.

4. Yes, should be difficult.

Thanks. Then have to live with 20-30 more clicks a day. :) Great help as always.
