Hello,
My WLD is due to extend/pay the maintainance fee. But I can't find the maintainance fee paying link to proceed when I open the WLD as before. Only the "purchase" link is available. Could you help on that?
Thanks

Hi,

Sounds like you've got a new PC. You have to activate the key and then the renewal option should come up.

Check this out:

Can't activate Wealth-Lab Developer trial: SSL/TLS error

Also, have you updated Windows recently, installing the update 3140245 in particular? If so please try to uninstall it and retry.

Hi Li,

1. Please try over a different network.
2. Synchronize your PC clock to ensure it's correct. Incorrect time will make it impossible to pass through authentication.

If that doesn't work, try clearing browser cache and then restart.

I'd add to Cone's advice that you also Clear SSL state in Windows Internet Options.

Another new consideration is to disable your firewall, antivirus and their HTTPS scanning feature in particular.

Also, add WealthLabDev.exe to the antivirus/firewall greenlist.

Unfortunately, it doesn't work with the Trying List below:

1."try over a different network": currently no alternative network is available. The network I'm using is quite stable.

2."Synchronize your PC clock":
- the PC time is Beijing time (UTC + 08:00) . Does it matter that the time is obviously different from the time in USA?
- the internet time is set to automatically synchronize with "time.windows.com".

3."clearing browser cache and then restart": yes, done.

4."Clear SSL state in Windows Internet Options": yes, done.

5."disable your firewall, antivirus ": yes, tried

We've double checked today it works on our end. I have no idea what but something on your machine is not letting WealthLabDev.exe to connect to our authentication server. It could be anything from antivirus to traffic sniffer and from firewall to a virus.

As an experiment, please try to add any live proxy that supports HTTPS connections to Windows Control Panel > Internet Options. There are many lists of free proxies on the web.

Hi Eugene,
I tried everything I can during the last days but the problem is still there.

For the purpose of checking whether the reason is with the PC setup itself or the network, I would try to migration the WLD to another PC to test. Thus I think I may need your help/authentication key to do it.
Thanks

Hi Barry,

Sorry that you're having trouble. We're working on troubleshooting, too.

Change of PC is generally not required. The proxy/VPN workaround has helped others affected by the issue e.g. Can't activate Wealth-Lab Developer trial: SSL/TLS error
