Eugene, Cone,

For some reason when I try to access a new symbol on a chart and try to run my strategy, I get this annoying window that tries to run backtest results. The only way around it is to pick a symbol which already had back test results, change the time frame i.e., 1 minute select my strategy and then finally change the symbol. It is kind of a work around to this annoying problem. There must be a way to disable back testing so I can select any symbol with any time frame on any strategy and it should run. Can you tell me how to do it?

Thanks.

Could you clarify what "the annoying window" is? I re-read and didn't understand anything.

What you called "the annoying window" is the interface for Multi-Symbol Mode backtesting:

Wealth-Lab User Guide > Strategy Window > Backtesting Strategies > Multi-Symbol Backtest

It is activated automatically when you select a DataSet title vs. clicking on an individual symbol, letting you backtest on portfolios.

Not sure what you mean dataset title. I just add a single symbol using the right hand side symbol text box. Can I disable it or at the very least get around it?

The left hand side symbol text box? Anyway, describe in greatest detail, step by step, exactly what should I do in order to get this.
