I'm having some trouble with the (forced) upgrade process from WLP6.0 to WLP6.1 (for the 64 bit flavor). On the same machine I've already successfully completed the (forced) upgrade from 6.0 to 6.1 of the 32 bit version, and I have the upgraded 64 bit running successfully on my laptop.

Here's the behavior:
(1) Mandatory Upgrade box appears
(2) Launches the windows dialog box for upgrade package loading - I click yes
(3) "This setup will perform an upgrade of WLP 6.0 (64 bit) do you want to continue?" Yes
(4) InstallShield wizard ... next
(5) "WealthLab Pro 6.1 (64 bit) installer Information box - "Error 1316. A network error occured while attempting to read from the file "C:\users\myname\AppData\Local\Downloaded Installations\~long hash key string~\WealthLabPro (64 bit).msi"
(6) Wizard was interrupted before WLP 6.1 (64 bit) could be completely installed. Your system has not been modified. To complete installation at another time please run setup again

That's it. It's happened several times, after fresh reboots, etc. The file .msi does exist at that path. I'm thinking of uninstalling the 64 bit version and reinstalling clean. Any other ideas?

Update:

I uninstalled (thru Windows control panel) and reinstalled directly from the .msi file. All is right with the world, barring the need to reinstall extensions.

It's possible there is something wrong with the manifest file for that WLP 64 bit upgrade. Fidelity phone support might know more about that, but it sounds like you found a solution that worked.

But note that after uninstalling, you don't need to remove the remaining files in the WLP6 installation folder - most (all?) of those would be extensions that would continue to work after re-installing.
