It worries me to take the code below and convert it to a "code-based strategy" because I am still heavily dependent on the builder to write the code.

1. What is the difference between converting it to a code based strategy, and just using the code directly?

2. Can I save it without converting it?

"Convert to code" is a one-way street. Do not convert to code until you know how to make edits to the C# code directly. You cannot convert this code back to rules.

"Open in new strategy window" gives an idea how the code behind will look like.

In your case, just "Save" it the usual way until you're proficient with WealthScript.
