Eugene asked me to post this here. He was correct, I had not installed ZedGraph.dll, but after installing it (what I thought correctly) by moving ZedGraph.dll to the C:\Program Files\Fidelity Investments\Wealth-Lab Pro directory, it still crashes. Am I installing it correctly?

Windows-XP-Pro SP3 Running under VMWare 6.1 and Linux Fedora 9.

Followed instructions and unzipped into C:\Program Files\Fidelity Investments\Wealth-Lab Pro 5 (Community.Visualizers.dll)

Starting WL crashes:

EventType : clr20r3 P1 : wealthlabpro.exe P2 :
P3 : 49933624 P4 : wealthlabpro P5 : P6 : 49933624
P7 : 3cd P8 : 56 P9 : system.typeinitialization

This looks like a unhandled exception.

I remove Community.Visualizers.dll and it runs fine.

Double check that you've copied the ZedGraph DLL correctly:

C:\Program Files\Fidelity Investments\Wealth-Lab Pro 5

By the way, why not simply install it in one click - from this site's Extensions section?

Using the Extension Manager all seems to work okay! However, the instructions were confusing as nowhere in the wiki that I found talked about the extension manager so I just unziped the extensions and placed them in the library. I got the ZedGraph lib from their site. Anyway all works now. Thanks.

Glen, thank you for the feedback. It occurred to me that the binary archive that you downloaded from the Wiki is missing ZedGraph.dll. No wonder that the version you took from ZedGraph's site crashes WLP - it's a slightly newer version containing. The binary archive was used to include the right version of the ZedGraph DLL, but now I realize I forgot to include it with the last update. My apologies.

This issue can't happen when using the Extension Manager.

Update: Wiki binary archive fixed. Thanks.
