At what time are orders for the next day accepted?

I've been paper trading a number of different strategies. I run my data update at 2 pm PDT and then my daily strategy run when it completes.

If I place all of the orders for my strategy around that time, the orders get accepted and then immediately canceled because the market is closed for the day. Do I have to wait until midnight EDT to submit my orders? Or is there a way I can have my strategies submit a GTC order that won't be immediately cancelled?

Thx.

You shouldn't update the data that soon:

Fidelity Static Provider Data Corrections

So, is this "Fidelity" or actually "Paper trader" as I assume? Paper Trading doesn't work outside of hours defined in "US Equities" (by default).

You're welcome. I guess this was the 'paper trader' so let's rename the topic title accordingly.
