Yahoo! has taken down download.finance.yahoo.com server. This affects:

1. Yahoo: broken streaming quotes and company names
2. MarketBeat provider (broken) - it's advised to temporarily switch to "Yahoo analyst ratings" provider for now
3. Community Components: GetExchange, GetFloat
4. Google and Quotemedia providers: missing company name for newly downloaded symbols

Fix is planned.

The Yahoo! provider has been fixed. We've fully restored Streaming data and company names. The extension will be uploaded shortly (ETA this week). Once update is available please use the Extension Manager to apply it and restart WLP/D.

Since the issue isn't critical with regard to the other extensions they will be updated as scheduled (end of November - early December).

I don't know if it's just a Saturday night/Sunday morning server maintenance issue or whether there is a problem with the Google and QuoteMedia static providers, but neither of them will load more than a couple of symbols before returning:
QUOTE:
Error: One or more errors occurred.
Provider update complete for [Google Finance / Quote Media]

I am using the 2017.12 versions of both.

I don't know if it matters, but I am trying to load all data for the symbols, rather than updating existing bars (to avoid getting bad split data).

This is something specific to your environment and different from the original issue marked as Resolved. I've just loaded all data from scratch for Dow 30 using both providers successfully.

Once again, this bug has returned but for a different reason and fortunately with much less impact. Some providers mentioned in post #1 require some web service by Google to function. Now Google has revamped their Finance website and this breaks:

1. Community Components: GetExchange method
2. Quotemedia provider: company names
3. Google static provider: EOD data (intraday and streaming data still function)

Fix is coming soon!

Attention Wealth-Lab Developer users of Yahoo provider from European Union!

If Y! provider stopped downloading data you will need to update the extension to v2018.06 and restart WLD.

To comply with GDPR, Yahoo introduced a forced consent page for those trying to access any Yahoo web page from a EU IP. New version fixes this breaking change.

Non-EU customers as well as Wealth-Lab Pro users need not update their installed extension yet as it doesn't add new features.

Apparently, the Google Finance data has now broken beyond repair.

Replacement available:

Check out the Alphavantage - a new static data provider that offers free intraday and daily data for U.S. stocks and Forex!

Requires a free API key (sign up at AlphaVantage.co before using the provider).

Attention Yahoo! provider users:

After updating data you may suddenly start noticing false gaps after stock splits. This is caused by recent change to the split data presentation at Y! website. Fix to the static provider will be uploaded shortly.

Attention Wealth-Lab Developer users of Yahoo provider from European Union!

If you experience Error 401 on data update then please update the extension to v2019.04 and restart WLD.

Yahoo's been making internal changes to said GDPR consent page. (We have a feeling that it may not be the last one).

Non-EU customers as well as Wealth-Lab Pro users need not update their installed extension as it doesn't add new features.
