Okay, I "Select All Symbols" and then "Delete all Data" in Data Manager. Finally, I have Data Manager update the Fidelity Select Sector funds dataset. Below is what I get for Saturday (10/2/2021), Sunday, and Monday (10/4/2021).


Why aren't all the funds updated through Friday, 10/1/2021? And why are some updated thru 9/30/2021 colored in red; whereas, others are colored in green? What's the difference?

What I "think" is happening is the Yahoo server is sending errors to the WL Yahoo provider, but the Yahoo provider is failing to log all these errors into the error log like it should. Can that be fixed so we can see what all these errors are?

The above operation generates a single entry in the Yahoo error log for everything, but this log entry may be unrelated. If it was related, dozens of separate entries would be created instead since there are many errors going on unreported.

There is nothing to fix. Being a free unsupported data source, sometimes Yahoo fails to deliver updates in time even for symbols of the Dow 30 caliber. All you can do is retry later. Also, some users reported having experienced restrictions updating big DataSets so these may have to be updated in several attempts.

P.S. The color difference simply indicates a positive vs. negative change in the stock's price vs. previous bar.

Just updated the DataSet and all funds (except those that stopped trading) have their data up to Oct 4.
