Where do deleted Strategies go? They are not in the Windows Recycle bin.

While there may exist a low-level, go-into-your-disk way to recover a deleted file, you can consider them "gone forever" if you respond affirmatively to this dialog.

Hmm... if I may humbly suggest: Kindly consider an intermediate stage - like a Trash folder within WL7 itself - where deleted files are stored and then permanently deleted after they have 'aged' by (?user-selected) number of days. This folder should be visible and a user may recover files during this phase - or delete them pronto if so desired.
Most newer model mobile phones have this feature so when you delete, say, a photo it gets moved to a Trash folder and then automatically deleted after (n) days, and during this period they can be recovered so you don't lose precious memories.
While I backup my data every day...stuff happens and accidental deletions may happen.
Just an extra level of protection. Good for all.

You could create another feature request and take resources away from doing something more interesting, but how about this idea? ...
Never delete strategies.
Instead, create a Trash Bin strategy folder and move them to it.
Problem solved, right?

Nice idea Robert.
Sammy_G, the proposed "intermediate Trash folder within WL7" sounds like a great example of Featuritis - a poisonous software disease :)

@Cone,
Yup, problem solved. I had only offered my suggestion upon learning they were being permanently deleted.
@Eugene,
As a user I love featuritis..... 😁😁😜

Featuritis, aka "Creeping Elegance" where I worked.
I watch JoJo's Bizarre Adventure with my son, and that sounds just like it could be the name for one the character's "Stands!"
Starting in Build 8, deleted Strategies will appear in the Windows Recycle Bin.
Would it be possible for them to be moved to a Trash folder inside WL7 (from where the user can recover or delete them at their convenience)?
Reason: Some users may be running apps that periodically & silently clean stuff from PC, incl Recycle Bin, in the background and if a deleted Strategy gets placed there it would be gone before they even realized it got accidentally deleted.

I don't see why we should labor to reinvent the recycle bin that's already a part of Windows. It was a simple enhancement to move them to the operating system recycle bin and I thought you'd be happy about that :(
We've got alot bigger fish to fry than managing the minutiae of deleted strategies.
