Hi,

I am dabbling with the autotrading. In WL6 there was a pane in the quotes window for triggered alerts. That would be very helpful to have so as to not have to have the orders window open to see what is there, and not have to have them autostage to get them over to the orders window.

It would also be nice if Auto-stage settings could be saved as a preference like it did in WL6 (i.e. it saved the settings when a quotes window closed). It's automatically on every time I open a quotes window and while I'm learning the nuances of WL7 or even just a new strategy I don't want to have to remember to turn that off.

Same for streaming quotes. When I have it on I always want it on and prefer to not have to turn it on every time I open a quotes window.

Thanks

This is one of those personal preferences - it depends who you ask. It took me a day or two to get used to it, but with Staging, the result is the same and saves a step. They're organized by order blocks, ready to place or not. If you can't stand it after another week, then make a feature request and let's see how many others agree.

As for the sticky selections - I'd tend to agree here and think for sure they should be saved with Workspaces. Let's see what Glitch thinks.

I'm playing with this more today. Please make the triggered alert pane a feature request.

Also please make adding "send to quotes window" a right-click option for signals a feature request if it's not a 2s fix. You have all the other signal options on the right click except that one.

This is why it's making things difficult for me: I am trying to get to the point where I can auto-trade like I did with Fidelity. Right now I am checking and testing every stage of the process.

You have auto-stage as a feature. I turn it off because I don't want anything to happen by accident. When Auto-stage is OFF, and a quote is triggered (like today I have several right now), and the stocks move, they can be anywhere in the auto-sorted window and there is no easy way to see everything that triggered let alone select them and stage them manually.

It's especially important to not-autostage and auto-place on days where 50-100 triggers go off first thing in the AM since there isn't any ability to limit the number of positions. I ran into that with WL6.

Another situation where I used it, a bunch of alerts go off in the AM and my position limit is reached so I turn auto-staging/trading off. I still want to know what's triggering after that. WL6 automatically left it in reverse trigger time order so I could see the order of the triggers.

Auto-trading can be very tricky and can be disastrous in the wrong conditions so the more control points we have the better.

Maybe I can get used to a new workflow but in my mind there were definite advantages to having a signal triggered pane.

Thank you

One other thing I'm missing is that as things are moving around, I'm not seeing what price the stocks triggered at which would be present in the pane. I know that'll be in the staged part but it's not the same.
