When you click on Kraken in Data Manager it opens the Kraken Settings dialog box... if you leave the fields blank and try to close (using Cancel, OK or the 'X' on top right) it closes but immediately reopens. This goes on endlessly, you can't navigate out of it.
The only thing one can do is kill WL7 ("End task") in Windows Task Manager.

Doesn't happen to me, cannot reproduce (in Build 3). :/ Or to be more precise, if I click Load Data it opens twice and then disappears.
I see that this happens when you click Load Data when the Provider has not yet been configured. Will disable that behavior, thanks for the report!
