I have a couple stocks that had recent stocks splits and data stream has not corrected for them in WL7. I use IQFeed. I seem to recall that in WL6, one could delete data and download again.

Same in WL7, one can "Reload chart data" from right-click menu or even "Delete local files" in Data Manager (warning: deletes all files by selected provider). But WL7 has logic to detect splits above certain magnitude and reload data automatically. What are the symbols without corrections?

The stocks that did not correct for stock splits are AVNW and FNGU.

Right click on the Price works, but you need to exit also. On AVNW, an error was generated, but I "continued" and then the WL7 exited. But the charts have been updated. Thank you.

No recent splits in FNGU:

AVNW did split 2:1 on Apr 8 and this should have been caught by the routine. Not sure why it didn't happen in your case.

We need to think about a way to refresh Daily historical data if a new split/dividend is detected from an event provider, but it's tricky.

The split for FNGU occurred on 2/12/2021. When right-clicked I got an error and then WL7 shut down. It displayed OK once, but then went back to showing the the none split on 2/12.

This is another reason why I wipe "1 minute" and "Daily" folders under IQFeedStaticProvider folder everyday before Automated Data Updates kicks in to download the fresh data (corrected for stock split). I wipe the those folders using a script and it works great for WL6.

However, unfortunately it doesn't work well for WL7 because the data scale is not tied to a DataSet and the automatic update cannot download the data until manually the data sets are updated for each data scale.

Pre-release versions of WL7 were able to automatically refresh the historical data on new split/dividend found in an event provider update. But later in the game this feature had to be removed.

If we happen to find a way to bring it back for EOD data one day, that might eliminate the need to wipe the Daily folder every day.

Recall that IQFeed does not deliver intraday split-adjusted data, so our provider performs that function.

FNGU fails to adjust the split on an intraday basis because IQFeed is not providing Split information (none) for FNGU.

In fact, IQFeed only supplies the last 2 splits for any stock. All others come from our resource file. We'll add the FNGU split to the split resource file so that it will be included in the next build for the IQFeed provider. Meanwhile, the only way to get it fixed will be to notify IQFeed to get this split added to the fundamental data.

We had a power failure here last night and today the split for AVNW has not been corrected. It was corrected before when I deleted data. The split for FNGU has never been corrected. In Data Manager/ Historical Providers and right click on IQFeed says that local files are deleted. But the splits are not corrected.

I was able to get AVNW to show the stock split, but FNGU is still a problem.

See Post #8 for the ins and outs of FNGU.

I'll give IQFeed a head's up. Maybe try next week and see if it's fixed.

They've got it fixed already... however, for some reason refreshing the chart for FNGU isn't causing the adjustment to occur. Investigating.

Actually, in my case I had added the split in reverse in the resource file, so it was ignoring the new IQFeed split and duplicating the error!

Anyway, for you, it's already fixed... just right click the chart(s) and Reload the data.

VXX reverse split today, but reloading chart on Daily or intraday data didn't adjust. I even split adjusted VXX.QX externally but IQFEED rewrote my changes..

I will try tomorrow to see if the data is corrected.

These ETF splits are troublesome because they're often not pre-announced. I'll give IQFeed a heads up so they put the split in the fundamental message.

.. but this one was announced!

IQFeed has the VXX split issue fixed.
Initially they put the ex-date on the 22nd, so if you updated an intraday chart at just the wrong time yesterday, you might have unsplit values on the 22nd. If so, just right click and reload the chart now.
