I do not want to display price pane when perform portfolio simulation and not interested in individual symbol pricing behavior. In WL6, where equity curve is being displayed in a separated screen from that of pricing screen - so it is not a big deal if the pricing pane is there. While in WL7, where they share the same screen, so real estate saved from the price pane not there is a big plus. Integral using and viewing of equity curve is one of WL7 main attractions.

What do you mean? Equity curve is displayed in its own visualizer in both WL6 and WL7.
Yes. I was preferring to the dynamic equity curve in WL7, where trades can be based on in real time.
I read it as you'd like to replace the Chart with your own plotted Equity with custom indicators applied to it. Sorry but neither replace nor (programmatic) height adjustment seem possible.
Please consider adding the capability to turn off the price pane like that of volume pane in future releases (#FeatureRequest). Thanks
There has to be a good reason for adding more options. So far I can't see such in your explanation. It's not desirable to overload the Preferences with single-user options.
Eugene, I can not tell you how many times in a given day that each time after a simulation run, I have to click on the border line between the panes and stretch so to shrink the price pane so to allow me have a clearer view of the equity curve among others. To be honest, it become more of a pain for me to to keep doing this. This just me and how I am doing things.
I can see that you guys have a huge backlog of things to do and there are more important features (for a majority of the users) to be considered first but as a customer, I would appreciate if you just consider to look at this feature down the road - that is all I am asking. Thanks.

We already have a feature request for control of pane heights. Did you vote for it?

I did consider and expressed my opinion based on the frequency of such requests for WL7 and in the past (WL6). They were minimal, letting me draw a conclusion that it's not in high demand so introducing it into the GUI might rather bring clutter (which affects everyone) than product's advancement.
Please vote for the feature request mentioned by Dion if you haven't done so. It would allow to control a pane's height programmatically. It's currently at #2 position:
