The so called "lack of users" is dreamed up. New users are coming in and I haven't seen any reduction of postings for some time past.

i apologize. i certainly didn't for a second think i was spreading a rumor. i typed too quickly without thinking through the implication of my words.

i hadn't been on the site for some time and recently came back to look around. my comment reflects disappointment that the many former contributors that (atleast to me) seemed to know so much about quantitative analysis and trading systems development appear to have left the site. i learned a ton while reading through their posts and following up their work with some of my own. i'm greatful that you are maintaining the posts on the former site, i just wish that the conversations that were occuring on that site, were continuing as well.

Not only the conversations are maintained on the legacy site, the whole database was carefully imported to the new site. In fact, since posting on the old site is disabled, any old discussions can continue only on the new site.
