Hi all

I am new to wealthlab so apologies for the basic questions.

I have a series of possible strategies that I would like to test across Spot FX and Futures markets. I have been looking at a number of back testing systems but WL looks to be the most flexible.

My system rules are time/ breakout based and extremely simple but I dont have any programming background. I can do basic things using SQL and most of the 'trading' code looks intuitive from the examples I have seen but there is plenty of stuff on the code examples that looks difficult to follow.

Have any other non-programmers had difficulty learning the programming language and/ or is there a manual or equivalent I can use to get me up and running?

thanks in advance for the help.

regards

Hi and welcome to the forums.

Check out this FAQ:

FAQ | Strategies and WealthScript > How do I start with C# ?

After installing Wealth-Lab, look under its Help menu for the WealthScript Programming Guide and peek in the QuickRef for code snippets (hit F11 to invoke).
