I am currently considering buying WL5, haven't worked with any system building software before. Anyways, I believe that the system is only as good as the data, so I wonder which kind of data providers you could recommend?
I am only looking to work with end-of-day on the major markets, no small to mid cap markets or single stocks or intraday data. Is the Yahoo or MSN data sufficient for this? Is there any other alternative that's maybe more reliable than Yahoo/MSN?
I am a non US resident, so would not buy the WL5 with Fidelity package.

[i][/i] WL5 Data Providers. I noticed that IQ Data supports Wealth Lab as a Real Time Data Provider. I found the instructions for installing the Data Installer IQ Client IQ Feed 4.4.0.3 and the IQ Feed Adapter in the Wealth Lab Developer 5 Folder.

It does not seem to be showing up in the data manager? What are the steps in WL5 to create this IQ Data Provider?

Wealth-Lab V5 currently has no IQFeed provider - the one you've found is for Wealth-Lab V4, and the new one is in the works. There is no forward/backward compatibility because of the drastic change in software technology and APIs between the old and the new Wealth-Lab versions.

Meanwhile, you're welcome to Wealth-Lab V5 FAQ in WL5Wiki, which is here to assist with similar "transitional" sort of issues.

Thank you Eugene for the reply. Any ETA on when that will be as I ultimately wish to use the program to setup an automated strategy trading through a broker API so I hope this will be possible is the not too distant future.

Fidelity is not supporting an open broker API in Wealth-Lab Developer Version 5.
