Submitted order status never changes to Active

Hi,
I've been trying to get the Auto-Trading working but the orders status have been labeled as submitted but never change to active. Any ideas?

Hi,
Have you checked your WLP entitlement status with Fidelity Active Trader Services?

Yes. I went through the entitlement process. I have now have the option to select Auto-Trading in WL. I can give them a call and see if it is something on their side.

I haven't heard of it in a while, but a while back there were reports of a orders with a "stuck submitted" status. Notwithstanding a bug in an earlier version of WLP, 6.2 I think, stuck submitted orders couldn't be duplicated in test, but if it's consistent for you then it would be good for Fidelity to take a look to see what's happening to your orders on the back end. Also, you should be able to cross check your order status in ATP or Fidelity.com for more clues.

I have this stuck submitted bug for an order. I was deleting multiple orders at once. Is there a way to clear that order?

That's a pretty "deep" discussion to pick through... the answer is to restart WLP, open the Orders tool, select the now "Unknown" order and delete it.
